International Corporation is packing Sour Patch Kids (jelly type candy) under the brand name NutMan, mistakenly bearing an OK Kosher Certification kosher symbol. This product is NOT kosher. Action Corrective action has been taken.

Philadelphia, PA Issue: UNAUTHORIZED OK KOSHER SYMBOL All American Manufacturing & Supply Co. is manufacturing and distributing various colors of edible ink bearing the OK Kosher Certification kosher symbol on the packaging, without the permission of OK Kosher Certification. February 9, 2015 KOSHER ALERT CHINA MEHADRIN Brands: China Mehadrin Products: Tempura Batter Mix Company: China Mehadrin, Brooklyn NY Issue: Mislabeled OU Yoshon Some packages of China Mehadrin Tempura Battter Mix mistakenly state “Made from Yoshon Flour”. The Orthodox Union does not certify this product as Yoshon. Future packaging is being revised. February 4, 2015 KOSHER ALERT MEHADRIN ICE CREAM CONES Brands: Mehadrin Products: Pareve Ice Cream Cones Company: Mehadrin Dairy & Ice Cream, Elizabeth NJ Issue: Mislabeled OU P The Orthodox Union certifies Mehadrin Ice Cream Cones. One of the Pareve varieties was mistakenly labeled with an OU P symbol next to the word Pareve. This product is pareve but not kosher for Passover. Corrective actions have been implemented. February 2, 2015 KOSHER ADVISORY GERBER BABY FOOD Brands: Products: Company: Nestle Infant Nutrition. Florham Park NJ Issue: Not all Gerber products are certified by the Orthodox Union. Currently, the Orthodox Union certifies some Gerber 2nd Food products in 3.5 ounce jars and 4 ounce aseptic cups. As always, consumers are urged to look for the OU symbol before purchasing Gerber baby food.

Kosher Alert: Products Missing DAIRY Designation 1. Farmers Market FM Lemon Meringue Pie and FM Pecan Pie 2. Rose & Robin Biscotti Collection 3. Metro - Selection Butter Cookies Trio were all inadvertently labeled without a ’dairy’ designation. These products are DAIRY. This product contains dairy ingredients as indicated in the ingredient and allergen statements. Corrective measures have been implemented.

Please be advised that Kraft Canada Inc. produced a limited amount of Kraft Shake ‘n Bake Herb and Parmesan Crust Coating Mix for the Canadian Market, with the following best before dates: Product UPC: 0-66188-12851–6 Best Before Date 16 AU 25 Best Before Date 16 SE 23 The labels were erroneously marked with the OK D logo. The following kashrus alert is from the KSA dated November 22, 2013. Many consumers are under the impression that various Yogenfruz stores are kosher certified by the KSA (Kosher Supervision of America). Some establishments may even display an unauthorized KSA logo on their menu board and on the front window. They also may have a Kosher certificate hanging in their store stating that their products are Kosher certified, however, this is not the case. Yogenfruz is a national retailer of frozen yogurt products with outlets across the U.S. KSA does not presently certify any Yogenfruz stores. Please note that the KSA symbol which appears on any product being sold at these stores is only valid for products in their original factory-sealed packages. Once the packaging is opened, the kosher certification of that product is no longer valid. KSA reminds the consumer that this same principle applies to all non-certified stores selling ice cream, smoothies, and other similar products.
