March 13, 2026 JOYVA - Pesach Clarification from the Kof K While Joyva products are certified by Kof K during the year, Joyva chocolate-covered jelly rings and Joyva marshmallow twists that bear a “K for Passover” designation, are not certified by the KOF-K. Several of the ingredients used in the manufacturing of these products are highly sensitive for Pesach, with potential kitniyos and/or chametz-related concerns. Accordingly, the KOF-K does not endorse, certify, or recommend these products for Pesach use, even for individuals who customarily consume kitniyos on Pesach.
March 10, 2026 Royale Chocolatier Chocolate Packages of Royale Chocolatier Angel Hair (Milk) Chocolate, product of Turkey, distributed by Cocoa Commerce of Dover, DE, bear an unauthorized STAR-K symbol. Corrective action is being taken. If you see this item in the marketplace, please email info@star-k.org and indicate the name of the store and the location where it was found.

Issue The Orthodox Union certifies ESPEEZ Assorted Rock Candy on a Stick. Two varieties, Pink Cherry and Purple Grape, recently started containing carmine, a non-kosher color. The company changed the formulas to remove carmine from those candies. Consumers should look at the ingredients statement to determine if their candies were made with carmine.

Original Juicy Fruit Chews Brand Starburst Product Starburst Company Mars Wrigley Canada Issue Unauthorized OU A multi-pack of fun-size Halloween candies distributed in Canada features an unauthorized OUD symbol beneath the Nutrition Facts panel on the Starburst product. The remaining products in the pack, Twix, Snickers, and Skittles, are correctly authorized under OUD.
October 24, 2025 SUN Q Cauliflower & Giardiniera Jars of SUN Q Cauliflower in Brine and SUN Q Mild Giardiniera, produced in Turkey and imported by Quartet USA Inc. of Jersey City, NJ, bear an unauthorized STAR-K symbol. Corrective action is being taken.
Please be advised that, effective immediately, Selah Beverages Corp (https://drinkselah.com/) is no longer certified as kosher under the Chicago Rabbinical Council. Products produced before 9/26/25 are correctly labeled with the cRc Kosher logo.
Golden Crown Yellow Rice with Saffron is being sold on various websites with images that contain the cRc logo. This product is not kosher. Corrective actions have been taken.
