Trader Joe’s Pas Yisroel Babka products Brand: Trader Joe’s Product: Babkas Company: Trader Joe’s Issue As has been the case for many years, the Trader Joe’s babkas continue to meet the Pas Yisroel requirements as listed on the Pas Yisroel list. However, this year due to temporary changes in production schedules, Trader Joe’s babkas whose packaging bear the following date codes are not Pas Yisroel: October 21, October 22, October 29, October 30, November 4, November 5, November 6, November 7, November 10, November 11, November 12 All other date codes of Trader Joe’s babka products are Pas Yisroel.
Trolli Pops Brand Trolli Product Trolli Pops Company Wells Enterprises, LeMars IA Issue The Orthodox Union certifies Trolli Pops as OU - D Dairy products. The Orthodox Union will no longer certify Trolli Pops. The Trolli Pops with an OU symbol are certified, and the Trolli Pops without an OU are not. Consumers should look for the OU symbol to make sure a product is certified.

August 20, 2025 Skittles Brand: Skittles Product: Skittles (various sizes and varieties) Company: Mars Wrigley Issue: Clarification of Skittles Kashrut Status At this point, some Skittles are certified kosher pareve even when not bearing the OU symbol - others are not. To determine if you have a certified product, please look at the ink-jetted codes printed on the package. 1. If the production code contains "YRV" in it, or it 2.Contains "WAC" and has a best-buy date of June 2026 or later then those products are certified kosher by the Orthodox Union. Eventually, the OU symbol will appear on the packaging.

July 8, 2025 The Only Bean Brand The Only Bean Product Crunchy Roasted Edamame Beans Wasabi Soy Sauce Super Snack Company The Only Bean, Grand Rapids, MI Issue The Orthodox Union certifies several varieties of The Only Bean Crunchy Roasted Edamame Beans snacks, except for the Wasabi Soy Sauce variety that is not certified. A variety of The Only Bean snacks are sold together in a box that bears an OU mark on the outside of the box. Only the products that have an OU mark on the individual packaging are certified. The Wasabi Soybean variety is not certified and does not have an OU mark on the individual package. Corrective actions are being implemented.

July 17, 2025 Ghost Hawk Brewing Company Issue: The Orthodox Union used to certify Ghost Hawk Brewing Company in Clifton NJ. Only the beer cans were certified. The Orthodox Union no longer certifies Ghost Hawk Brewing Company. Ghost Hawk Brewing Company also operates a retail establishment that only serves Ghost Hawk Brewing Company beers. The Orthodox Union never certified the retail establishment. Ghost Hawk Brewing Company was incorrectly listed on the Orthodox Union’s restaurant list. This has been corrected.
