As has been the case for many years, the Trader Joe’s babkas continue to meet the Pas Yisroel requirements as listed on the Pas Yisroel list. However, this year due to temporary changes in production schedules, Trader Joe’s babkas whose packaging bear the following date codes are not Pas Yisroel:
October 21, October 22, October 29, October 30, November 4, November 5, November 6, November 7, November 10, November 11, November 12
All other date codes of Trader Joe’s babka products are Pas Yisroel.

To determine if you have a certified product, please look at the ink-jetted codes printed on the package.
1. If the production code contains "YRV" in it, or it
2.Contains "WAC" and has a best-buy date of June 2026 or later
then those products are certified kosher by the Orthodox Union.
Eventually, the OU symbol will appear on the packaging.

Ghost Hawk Brewing Company also operates a retail establishment that only serves Ghost Hawk Brewing Company beers. The Orthodox Union never certified the retail establishment. Ghost Hawk Brewing Company was incorrectly listed on the Orthodox Union’s restaurant list. This has been corrected.
