July 19, 2017 OU Kosher Advisory – Costco Kirkland Butter Brand: Kirkland Product: Butter Company: Costco Wholesale Corporation Issue: The Orthodox Union certifies Kirkland Signature Butter as an OU D –Dairy product. The OU D symbol was inadvertently omitted from some Costco Kirkland Butter. The OU D symbol is being ink jetted with the date code on affected product.

This product is not approved by the OK. Action Corrective action has been taken.

June 13, 2017 Update: Berkley & Jensen and Wellsley Farms – Cocktail Beef Franks in Pastry Brand: Berkley & Jensen and Wellsley Farms Product: Cocktail Beef Franks in Pastry Company: BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. Issue: Product will remain kosher: A previous OU Advisory on this product stated it would no longer be kosher. BJ’s has decided to keep this product OU Certified.
