August 19, 2019 The cRc certifies as kosher some varieties of Leonidas – Fresh Belgian Chocolates but the majority of products are not kosher certified. These chocolates are being sold at the James Richardson Duty Free Stores at Ben-Gurion Airport in Israel with a sticker on the back of the various boxes that states all products in the boxes are cRc kosher. In fact, many of the products are not certified as cRc kosher. The only products that are certified are those found on the Kosher Letter which can be found at: http://www.crcweb.org/LOC/Leonidas%20SA%20LOC.pdf Corrective action is being taken.

Some Splenda bags include sample Iced Tea Concentrate drink pods and Strawberry Watermelon Concentrate drink pods, which are certified by the Orthodox Union as OU D - Dairy products. The outer bags are labeled with both an OU symbol and an OU-D symbol. The OU symbol pertains to the Splenda sweetener, and the OU-D symbol pertains to the drink pods.

June 20, 2019 Kashrus Advisory Apple & Eve 36 Count Variety Pack Brand Apple & Eve Product 36 Count Variety Pack Company Lassonde Pappas and Company, Carneys Point NJ Issue The Orthodox Union certifies many varieties of Apple & Eve juices. The certified products are labeled with an OU Symbol. Some of the 36 Count Variety Pack juices are not certified by the Orthodox Union. The non-certified variety packs do not bear an OU symbol, and states "made in Canada". The non-certified variety packs are sold in Costco and Sam’s Club stores. Please check for the OU symbol before buying Apple & Eve juices.
