Redpath Icing Sugar MISLABELED as Kosher for Passover. This product is NOT Kosher for Passover even when bearing a COR-P symbol as it contains corn starch as noted in the ingredient panel. Corrective action is being taken.
7 Adar 5782 – March 10, 2022 Brand: Keebler/Funables Product: On-the Go Variety Pack Company: Ferrara Candy Company Chicago, IL 60607 Issue: Inadvertent Use of OK Symbol A limited number of Keebler/Funables On-the Go Variety Packs were labeled with the OK-D symbol by mistake. While the Keebler product is kosher, the Funables gummies are not kosher. Action: Corrective actions are being taken.

These products are NOT certified by the MK. (Moderator note: these were found at Costco this week).
2 Shevat 5782 – January 4, 2022 Product: Villa Cape Wines Issue: Villa Cape 2018 vintage wines, which have the importer’s name on the label listed as Israco International Food Brands Marketing Ltd. bear an unauthorized OK symbol. Villa Cape 2021 vintage wines bear an unauthorized OK symbol – OK Kosher did not certify any productions in 2021. Action: Corrective actions are being taken.

San Francisco, CA 94111 Issue: Unauthorized Use of OK Kosher Symbol Various Further Food collagen products bear an unauthorized OK Kosher symbol. This company and their products are not certified by OK Kosher Certification. Action: Corrective actions are being taken.
Kalikof Bowfin Caviar bears an unauthorized STAR-K symbol and is not certified by STAR-K. Corrective action is being taken.
Country Crock Brand Country Crock Product County Crock Products Company Upfield, Hackensack NJ Issue The Orthodox Union certifies many, but not all Country Crock products. Country Crock products with the OU symbol are certified, and the products without the OU symbol are not. Consumer should look for the OU symbol.

The Gift Group Brand: Bruges, Latiere (and any other brand of The Gift Group) Product: Chocolates Company: The Gift Group, Scarborough ON Issue: Unauthorized OU The Orthodox Union does not certify products from The Gift Group. Some of their chocolates have an unauthorized OU symbol. Corrective actions are being implemented.
Morning Fresh Farms frozen vegetables, distributed by Merchant Distributors (MDI) of Hickory, NC, bear an unauthorized STAR-K symbol. Products not certified include broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, collard greens, turnip greens, Brussels sprouts, and all mixes that include any of these items. These products have not been checked for tolaim (insect infestation). Breaded okra is also not certified. Products were found in stores in the southeastern United States. Corrective action is being taken.

Tapatio Ramen Noodle Soup Shrimp Flavor Brand Tapatio Ramen Noodle Soup Product Shrimp Flavored Ramen Soup Company Unity Foods LLC, Cypress CA Issue Loss of hashgocha - Tapatio Shrimp Flavored Ramen Soups come in different size containers. The 3.7 ounces bowls are not certified by the Orthodox Union and do not bear an OU symbol. The 2.29 ounces cups were certified by the Orthodox Union and bear an OU symbol. The Orthodox Union will no longer certify the 2.29 ounces cups and the OU symbol will no longer appear on the label. It is possible that both the certified and non-certified products will be sold simultaneously as the supply of the OU certified product is being depleted. Consumers should look for the OU symbol before purchasing products.

October 12, 2021 Kitchen Aid French Door Refrigerators It has come to our attention that in certain models of STAR-K Sabbath Mode-certified Kitchen Aid French Door refrigerators - among them KRFC302ESS and KRSC503ESS - the interior lights continue to be operational even in Sabbath Mode. To determine if your model has this issue, do the following: 1. Set the Sabbath Mode. 2. Keeping the left door and freezer drawer closed, open the right door. a. If there is no light displaying, your unit is fine. b. If you see a light, however dim, you will need to tape down both refrigerator switches and the freezer switch before Shabbos and Yom Tov. Be sure to remove the tape after Shabbos/Yom Tov. Please contact KitchenAid at 1-800-422-1230 to report the issue and schedule service.

Garden of Life - Vitamin Code Raw Antioxidants, distributed by Garden of Life of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, bearing an expiration date that is prior to September 1, 2022, is NOT KOSHER even when bearing a STAR-K symbol. The product contains a non-kosher ingredient. Corrective action is being taken.
