Brand: Spring Valley Product: Potato Blintzes Company: MilMar Food Group, Goshen NY Issue: We have recently been notified that some packages of Spring Valley Potato Blintzes contained cheese blintzes (non-Cholov Yisroel). This only applies to LOT# 1513MMR7831RE. This does not affect all packages in this lot, however, out of an abundance of caution, all packages from this lot have been removed from the shelf. If you have a package at home, please check it before preparing it to be sure it is potato and not cheese. Corrective actions have been implemented.
Snapple Elemints “Fire” Dragon Fruit Juice Drink contains grape juice. It is NOT Kosher certified and does NOT bear an O/K. Only those Snapple drinks that bear the O/K symbol are Kosher (be sure to check for their pareve/dairy statues. A plain O/K symbol indicates pareve, O/Kd is dairy and O/K de is dairy equipment.
Morocco Kosher Travel Company: Morocco Kosher Travel, New York NY Issue: Unauthorized OU The Orthodox Union does not certify Morocco Kosher Travel. Some ads for Morocco Kosher Travel were published with the statement "The First OU Certified Company To Morocco". This statement is incorrect.
Jalapeno Pistachios, manufactured by Vacaville Fruit Company of Vacaville, CA, bear an unauthorized STAR-K symbol. The product contains small traces of dairy and should bear a STAR-D (non-Cholov Yisroel). Corrective action is being taken.
Recent findings are showing high levels of infestation on the exterior of bell peppers – of all colors and sizes (i.e., both regular and mini). The main area of infestation is around the stem. While research into this issue is ongoing, we recommend that consumers wash and scrub the pepper by hand or with a vegetable brush under a strong stream of water, and then remove the stem with some of the surrounding area, as illustrated in the photo below. Peppers should not be cooked or eaten whole with the stem still attached.

This product contains a dairy ingredient as indicated in the ingredients panel. Some packaging was printed with a plain OU, without the D – Dairy designation. Future packaging is being revised.

STAR-K ALERT March 23, 2023 Ceres Juice Please note that effective December 2022, STAR-K changed the status of the entire line of Ceres 100% Juice from "STAR-K Kosher for Passover" to STAR-K for year-round use only. This was due to a change in a processing aid used by the manufacturer that does not meet STAR-K’s standards for Pesach. Consumers who find containers of Ceres Juice on store shelves bearing a STAR-K P symbol should note that while these items are no longer certified Kosher for Passover according to STAR-K standards, they are halachically Kosher for Pesach. New productions of Ceres Juice will bear only a STAR-K symbol.
