With the warmer temperatures comes a flurry of new 7eleven Slurpee flavors. Among them are several under the Yo Cream or Jolly Rancher brands. Please be aware that these flavors are certified kosher dairy. Jolly Rancher Yo Cream *Watermelon Bubble Yum *Green Apple * These are not to be confused with the Fanta flavors, Sour Watermelon and Sour Apple, which are both certified kosher pareve. Twizzler Strawberry is NOT the same Twizzler that was sold a few years ago. The new flavor is still being reviewed and has not been certified kosher at the time of this alert. Another new flavor, Monster Black, will be introduced in July. This flavor is NOT KOSHER!
In a previous alert, we stated that the cRc no longer certifies Heaven Best Butter, even when the package bears a cRc on the label. All issues have been corrected and all product is indeed kosher dairy (cholov stam) when bearing the cRc logo.
Please be advised that TRADER JOE’S brand CASHEWS marked product of Thailand bear an unauthorized BCK symbol of Kashrus. Consumers finding this product are asked to contact BC Kosher at (604) 731-1803.
COR has determined that there is no problem with unsold chometz for products bearing the COR 454. These products may be used. Compliments Phyllo Pastry, Presidents Choice Phyllo Pastry and Safeway Select Phyllo Pastry

Recoverite Glutamine Fortified Recovery Drink, distributed by Hammer Nutrition, Whitefish, Montana, bears a plain cRc logo, mistakenly omitting the ťdairy designation. The product is indeed dairy, as indicated in the ingredient panel. Corrective measures are being taken.
The following alert was sent by Blue Ribbon Kosher of Minnesota: The following 6 "Earl of Sandwich" bread varieties, under Blue Ribbon Kosher supervision and bearing the Blue Ribbon Kosher symbol, are mistakenly labeled as "D Stam". They are in fact "Parve". Future packaging will be revised. The breads, sold both commercially and retail, were distributed nationally during April and during the first week in May. Since they are shipped frozen they could turn up for several months, yet. White Sourdough, Jewish Rye, Caraway Rye, Marble Rye, Eight Grain and Pumpernickel Rye. It is Blue Ribbon KosherÃÔ policy not to certify breads as dairy.
Coombs Family Farms Organic Apple 7 Cinnamon Pancake Mix was mislabeled Kof-K pareve. The product is Kof-K Dairy. Corrective measures are being taken.

Effective April 30, 2008, the Homowack Lodge (a/k/a Spring Mountain Resort) will be discontinuing OU Kosher Supervision and will be under the Vaad Beis Din of New Square.

Several batches of Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce, 3.7 Lwere inadvertently labeled without the "COR Fish" designation.This product does contain fish ingredients and should bear "COR 10 Fish" on the label.Corrective measures have been taken.
Brands: Libby’s Products: Fruit Cocktail Company: Signature Fruits- Modesto, CA Issue: This product was packaged in cases whose exterior markings represent the product as being OU certified. Libby’s Fruit Cocktail is not OU certified.
Brands: Galil Products: Artichoke Bottoms, Green Fava Beans, Baby Okra Company: Galil Importing- Syosset, NY Issue: Certain Galil products that are certified kosher by the Orthodox Union bear an unauthorized “Kosher for Passover” statement and may be kitnios.
Please be advised that effective April 18th , 2008 Gryfe’s Bakery Ltd, 34 Drumlin Circle, Concord, Ontario will no longer be COR kosher certified
Please be advised that, as of March 31, 2008, cheeses produced by Joseph Gallo Farms are no longer certified by OK Kosher Certification. Cheese packed with the OK symbol on the label and a use by date on or before September 27, 2008, were produced and packaged under OK supervision and certification.

AGROFOOD BRAND DRIED FRUITS AND NUTS bear an unauthorized Star-K. The products and company are not certified. Corrective action is being taken.
Please be advised that several packages of Central Epicure Salted Herring Fillets were mistakenly labeled “Kosher for Passover” The product, which is not kosher, was sold at Fortino’s (Lawrence & Allan Road) and has now been removed from the store.

Schreiber, Inc. - Pompano Beach, FL Issue: This product has been distributed containing two seasonings (Lemon & Herb Seasoning and Supreme Salad & Pasta Mix) whose individual labels bear an unauthorized OU symbol and are not certified kosher by the Orthodox Union. Starbucks Liqueur Brands: Starbucks Products: Coffee Liqueur Issue: Although the OU symbol was omitted from the labels, please be advised that these products are certified as follows: Starbucks Coffee Liqueur is Kosher, and Parve (OU). Starbucks Cream Liqueur is Kosher, and Dairy (OU-D). Godiva Liqueur Brands: Godiva Products: Chocolate Liqueur Issue: Due to an error, the OU symbol was omitted from the labels. These products continue to be certified without change as follows: Godiva Chocolate Cream Liqueur, White Chocolate Cream Liqueur and Cappuccino Liqueur are Kosher and Dairy (OU-D). Godiva Chocolate Liqueur is Kosher and Parve (OU).
With Passover coming up shortly BCK would like to inform the public to be aware that it is common practice among salmon manufactures to dip raw salmon in a corn starch bath. This is especially important for those careful not to consume kitniyos on Passover. Please verify that the fish you are purchasing has not been treated as mentioned and is certified kosher for Passover.
