6063 - Don’t Blow the Blows!
Question
Q. Kevod Rabenu Long Life. I’m a new Baal Tokea, yet I’m a left-handed. Do I blow the shofar on the left side of my mouth holding it with my left hand?
Answer
A. Ideally, the shofar blower should try to blow it from the right side of his mouth, but this certainly doesn't prevent one from fulfilling the mitzvah after the fact if he doesn't.
