6021 – Not that Extended!

Q. Rabbi, I must add that some of our guest are traveling home on Friday morning is it permitted for them to acquire and eat the products for Shabbat in the morning here, when the stores open including meat and wine?

A. Nitei Gavriel (89: 1) and others indeed permit for those who travel in to the washing of needed clothing for those in need.
