# 789 Code Count

Horav Shlomo Miller’s Shlit”a opinion is that Morse code can not be used since for the purposes of counting sefira it considered communication signs and not a language.(See question 788 in this forum).

He also maintains that encrypted script is not considered for the purpose of sefira as writing, and therefore does not make a difference, even for counting on subsequent days with a brocho. (See question 785).
