6144 -Blessing the Blessed? -
Question
Q. If a mezuzah was placed in a house without a blessing, should you take it off and bless it again properly? Does it matter the amount of time it’s been since the mezuzah was placed?
Answer
A. Horav Aharon Miller Shlit”a indicated that it is enough to remove it a bit from the wall on a position that you would not comply with the mitzva anymore and then recite the Bracha and put it back properly into its correct place.
