6132 – Uncrumple the Crumple?
Question
Q. Kvod Horav Shlit’a. As the Rov is aware I live in an old age home and this question is necessary for me. Is it permitted to restore a crumpled aluminum plate or container to be able to reuse it during Shabbat?
Answer
A. One should avoid doing it on Shabbos when possible and use a new one, saving also if necessary the old one for use after Shabbos.
