6121 An International Sukkah?
Question
Q, Can one invite Non-Jewish guest to the Sukkah? I heard in a class that there is either a prohibition or at least an inyan (issue) not to have a non-Jew in the sukkah.
Answer
What is the source for this?
A. Indeed the Zohar in Emor, brought in the sefer Bad Kodesh (Rav Berel Povarsky) (Sukkos) teaches that Zohar is excluding Non-Jews from the mitzva of Sukkah. He happens to learn that it just means they don't get a mitzva if they sit in a sukkah. But some understand the Zohar that they shouldn't be in a sukkah.
