6083 – Give a Good Guest Blessing!
Question
Dear Rabbenu Shlit"a. If a traveling Jew is invited to a free Shabbat Se'udah in a shul, should he recite the blessing of the guest? ברכת האורח? If so, what is the nusach of the blessing that he should recite? Thanks. Shalom.
Answer
A. He should recite the Horachaman blessings said on the Birchat Hamazon after eating, mentioning the Gabaim, the directors of the shul, and the contributors to the meal he had.
