Q. Dear Rabbi. My dear wife has always for many years complied with the mitzva of listening to the shofar on Rosh Hashana. This year sadly she will be hospitalized and will not be able to h
ear the shofar.
Does she need the declaration of Hatarat Nedarim (Absolving from promises}?

A. Kovetz Halachot (11: 4, p.132) rules that she does not need to do Hatoras Nedorim
