Q. See question above. If the live display of Jerusalem, is on my phone can I comply with it as a Zeher Lechurban when traveling or staying by a friend? Is it recommended?

A. Although it may not be needed, as mentioned above, it is helpful, yet it must be turned off on Shabbat and Yom Tov.
