#6007 -The Songs of Shabbat Chazon?

Question

Dearest Rov Shlit’a. Is there an obligation or mitzva to contain or minimize Simcha (joy) during Shabbat Chazon, such as changing the tunes of the customary Tefilot or songs of Shabbat, with sad sounding tunes? How about giving a lesser kiddush after the davening, or even avoiding giving the customary candies to the children that attend?

Answer

There are indeed different traditions and one should respect and keep the minhagim and established customs of the community he attends.
