Question
Dear Rabbi, As during this time of the year the weather and rain in our town is quite unclean and actually soiled, can a wife take her great beautiful new car to wash during the Nine Days?
Answer
On question 337 we wrote:
“Q. Can you take your car to a car-wash (during the Nine Days) if it is very dirty?
A. Horav Shlomo Miller’s Shlit”a opinion is that there is no prohibition in washing a car during the Nine Days. (See similar opinion in Nitey Gavriel – Ben Hametzorim I p. 174)
