Shalom, Dear Rabbeinu Shalit"a,

In case of sending משלוח מנות to a person who has a very particular taste when it comes to food, is that OK to offer him a gift card or money?

Horav Shlomo Miller’s Shlit’a opinion is that to comply with the mitzva of Shalach Manot on must send food or edible material or drinks.
