# 2998 Rise to be First or to the Sunrise?
Question
Is it better to be from the asara rishonim or to daven vasikin (but not possible to be from the first ten in the vasikin minyan, only in a regular minyan)?
Answer
Horav Shlomo Miller’s Shlit’a opinion is that it is preferred to daven vasikin (at sunrise), than being from the first ten, when there is no better choice.
