Dear Rabbi Shlit’a. Is it permitted to keep a secret by lying to someone questioning you? (Like repudiate that you were there or that you know the material?)
Answer
You may find other ways to avoid answering totally untruthfully such as: I’m a bit busy now or I’m a bit tired and can’t remember well details, etc. etc...
