One more question, I have seen people that on Isru Chag collect all old sefarim and Torah discarded papers also from yeshiva and school attendants and take them to the Geniza on Shavuot Isru Chag, is there a reason for that?

Indeed Nitei Gavriel (37: 6) quotes Mayim Chaim 3, and other sources to keep this tradition.
