#5322 Devote to the Vote?

Question

Dear Rov Shlita. If someone is voting today, does he have to have in mind that he wants to comply with a Torah mitzva since Horav Miller Shlita and all other Rabanim ordained to do so?

Answer

Horav Aharon Miller Shlit’a indeed mentioned that one should have in mind that by voting as required, one is complying with a Biblical Mitzva as is usually required to comply correctly.
