#5099 – Hazoom Es Hakol?

See question above. In our special situation, can we maybe just zoom a blowing of the shofar, since after all it is only for a remembrance act?
Answer
Horav Shlomo Miller’s Shlit”a usual opinion is that any mitzva that involves verbal expressions and voice, such as tefilos, the reading of the Torah, the reciting of any blessings etc., as we have mentioned many times, has to be done only by a human voice and effort.
