#5086 The Last Drink?
Question
Can one drink diluted fruit juice at the Seudas Hamafsekes (last meal before fasting begins)? It is very helpful for me. Can one take then a Lechaim zip?
Answer
Some Poskim permit drinking coffee or tea at the Seudas Hamafsekes (Shaarei Teshuva 552: 1), similarly some Poskim permit diluted juice in need. However, Poskim prohibit any alcoholic drinks.
