# 4877 Skip a Bit?
Question
When I am davening Maariv for the amud (leading the services), may I skip a few pesukim in Baruch Hashem Leolam to avoid delaying the tzibbur, as I cannot read it as fast as they do?
Answer
Horav Shlomo Miller’s Shlit’a opinion is that in that case it is better to skip that complete last brocho and recite Kaddish when the people of the minyan are ready.
