Question
Kvod Harav Shlit’a. My father Shlit’a will not be able to fast this year on Asarah Beteveth due to some medical treatment he has to undergo on Friday morning. Should he fast on Thursday since the three days (8-9-10) are related?

Horav Shlomo Miller’s Shlit’a opinion is that it is not necessary or even meaningful.
