#454 The Order of Eating Fruits
Question
Do you have to eat the fruits on the order of the pasuk or is it enough just to make the bracha on the olives or whatever else is first?
Answer
Horav Shlomo Miller’s Shlit"a opinion is that the order implied in the posuk is only for the purpose of providing priority to the fruit we are going to recite the brocho on and eat first. Once the brocho has been recited the order of eating the remaining fruits is inconsequential.
