If I am dating or married to someone who is physically infirm or has a visual impairment, is it a violation of shomer negia to help guide them if no one else is available, even in public? Does it matter whether or not I am a nidda?

Poskim maintain That in such a case one should use a separating cloth for the companion to hold on. The above applies to a doctor or nurse also.
