Does one recite Shecheyanu on the pleasant smell of a new fruit or flower on that year?
Answer
.Mishna Brurah (225:16) rules that the bocho of Shechecheyanu is not recited on a fragrance, even on those fruits or flowers that are renewed each year.
Horav Shlomo Miller’s Shlit’a opinion is similar.
