Question
Is it permitted to use the water in a swimming pool when collected in a cup or similar to wash hands for eating bread?
Answer
Horav Shlomo Miller’s Shlit’a opinion is that it should not be used as it may be considered water that has been already used for work or another purpose and is therefore disqualified. (Shulchan Aruch O.H. 160: 2).
