# 4253 A Far Shave
Question
If I keep the Minhag of the Sefira prohibitions only until Lag Baomer as other Ashkenazim also do in our days. If I’m permitted already to shave on Lag Baomer? would it be better to wait until Friday and shave lekovod Shabbos?
Answer
In principle you are right, however Horav Shlomo Miller’s Shlit’a opinion is that one should keep the Sefira prohibitions even after Lag Baomer.
