# 4212 A Quick Shave

Question

If an elderly patient is required to have an Electroencephalogram (EEG) and has long hair and the physicians said in his case it is better to cut the hair shorter, but it can wait until after Lag Baomer. Is it better to wait or it really does not matter?

Answer

Horav Shlomo Miller’s Shlit’a opinion is that it is permitted and one does not have to wait at all.
