# 4210 A Close Shave?
Question
I have hair that grows on my face under my eye. I was told it may be a problem to shave that high up. Is there an Issur (prohibition) to shave so high up?
Answer
Horav Shlomo Miller’s Shlit’a opinion is that it is considered the eye and not included in other shaving prohibitions, similar to the hair in the nose.
