# 4201 Need Something Yesterday

Question

Our family was invited to eat a Pesach meal at a great neighboring friends house, who is a known Chacham. They are Sephardim and very careful with all the stringencies of Pesach, yet as their tradition is, they do eat Kitniyot. They promised me that they will respect us and not serve any Kitniyot, and the dishes will be disposable.

Do I have to be concerned with the cooking done inside their Kitniyot pots?

Answer

Kovetz Halochos (10: 6), maintains that if they were not used for a day (Einom Ben Yomo), it is permitted.
