See question above. What about my cell phone? Would it matter if it was still on or would it have to be turned off since it might record steps.
Answer
if the phone was left unwittingly on and it is recording without the owners intention, it is basically of no consequence, after the fact, since it is a ’Dovor Sheino Miskaven’ or a not intended Melacha and likely of no use at all.
