Question
When a person sucks on pretzels to enjoy the salty taste but doesn’t actually swallow should he make a Bracha.
Answer
Horav Shlomo Miller’s Shlit’a opinion is that only if salt crystals or grains are ingested and swallowed, a brocho (Shehakol) should be recited. If not one should preferably eat a bit of the pretzel and recite Mezonos.
