# 3848 Clear the Mud
Question
Dear Rabbi if my glasses fell on the mud while in the cottage and the mud became dry can they be washed on Shabbos? Does the same apply to a window?
Answer
Horav Aharon Miller Shlit’a maintains that the glasses are not different than dishes and if needed for Shabbos they can be washed. The same would apply to the glass of a window if it is needed clean during Shabbos.
