# 3776 Magnitude of Gratitude
Question
If someone is a great swimmer and swims more than five or six hours (about 5 km. there and back) into the sea far from the shore, which is about the common maximum for regular good swimmers, does he have to say Hagomel when he returns?
Answer
Horav Shlomo Miller’s Shlit’a opinion is that no Hagomel brocho should be recited.
