# 3674 Counting First
Question
On the above question, if that was the last minyan for Maariv, should one count Sefira first or daven Maariv by himself first?
Answer
Kovetz Halochos and others maintain that in such a case it is better to count Sefira first with the many of the minyan present (Rov Am) and avoiding to forget to count which is more common when one davens by himself.
Horav Shlomo Miller’s Shlit’a opinion is similar.
