Question
Can I use a very old shofar that has been in our shul for many years. Do I have to be concerned that it may not be kasher anymore?
Answer
Horav Shlomo Miller’s Shlit”a opinion is that you should bring it to a competent Rov and have it checked for cracks and physical punctures and deficiencies that may be disqualifying. See Following question.
