My daughter is finishing High School and plans to attend college and get a bachelor’s degree in journalism, and communications, since her dream is to become a reporter. Should we discourage her since that involves so much Lashon Hara’a, lies and Motzi Shem Ra’a?
Answer
Horav Aharon Miller’s Shlit’a opinion is that she may make a career in writing for Frum Papers and magazines, that follow Daas Torah and are careful with the mentioned prohibitions.
