Question
On this year that Tisha Beav is Motzei Shabbat, I heard that Horav Shlomo said that women should try to attend shul at night for Maariv. Why?
Answer
Indeed, the Rov Shlit’a maintains that women on this occasion should daven Maariv (not necessarily in shul) so they can recite Havdalah when saying Shemone Essre, and be permitted to do work, since we do not recite the usual Havdalah until the end of the Taanis, Sunday night.
