#274 Divorced or widowed Kallah wearing white

Question

Does a once divorced kalah wear white?

Answer

Horav Shlomo Miller’s Shlt"a opinion is that a divorced or widowed Kallah may wear white as long as it is not the long or extended dress ordinarily used in most weddings. A similar opinion is to be found in Nitey Gavriel (Hilchos N’ssuin I, 51, 2)
