#272 Transferring to other locations when in jail
Question
I am currently in jail and have an option to be transferred to a different location. Is it better to be in a place closer to my family or in a place with a Minyan?
Answer
Horav Shlomo Miller’s Shlit"a opinion is that being in a location where there is access to a minyan, supersedes other considerations, particularly as this facility also provides better personal security and safety.
