Question
In these Covid times, is it mesira to report minyanim that are still functioning? Should one avoid informing others of such minyanim?
Answer
Since not all places and minyanim are the same, and they are various factors involved, Horav Shlomo Miller’s Shlit’a opinion is that you may inform the competent nearby Rabbi and if that is not a possibility, call the local Hatzalah, as they are better prepared to make the correct decision and do the right thing.
