Question
Is it better when Lag Baomer falls on a Thursday to wait to cut hair and shave until Erev Shabbos?
Answer
This shaila was already addressed on question 1703 where we wrote: "Horav Shlomo Miller’s Shlit’a opinion is that it is unnecessary to wait until Friday and if he wishes he can cut his hair on Thursday and it would be considered Likvod Shabbos.
Although, some Poskim may disagree, the Rov stressed that this is permitted lechatchila, on the onset.
