# 2084 A Fast Name for a Speedy Refuah

Question

A baby girl born prematurely was placed in an incubator, does one wait for name giving and saying sheheyanu until she is out?

Answer

Horav Shlomo Miller’s Shlit’a opinion is that the name should be given as soon as possible and tefilos should be recited with her name on her behalf. However, shehecheyanu should be recited after she is taken out from the incubator.
