# 1176 Clean Up Act
Question
If a donated white bima cover table became very dirty and looks disgusting, can the gabay turn it backside up which is nice and clean, when the name of the donor will not be seen, and he is not present to be consulted?
Answer
Horav Shlomo Miller’s Shlit’a opinion is that the shul should have cleaned it before Yom Tov. If that did not happen, they may turn it backside up, since we assume that the donor would agree to this.
